Studying abroad at Goshen

Experience the joy of the journey.

Helping students become active, global citizens engages many aspects of life and study at Goshen, but our nationally recognized Study-Service Term (SST) program stands as one of GC students' primary vehicles for learning about cultures across the globe.

A 13-week journey...

SST programs begin with faculty-led orientation sessions even before you leave campus. Once you arrive in your host country, the first half of your 13-week SST journey will be spent living with a local family and studying language, culture, politics and history. You'll also meet guest speakers such as a university president, a service worker, an environmental expert or a nationally renowned author. Find out more about international education requirements or visit the SST Web site.

Midwestern campus – international flavor

International education need not occur only abroad. Eight to 10 percent of Goshen students annually represent more than 30 countries outside of the U.S and Canada and more than half of our faculty members have lived or worked abroad, lending an international flavor to everyday life on campus. Visit the International Students' Club Web site.
