Transferring to Goshen

"Shanda Hochstetler, a 2005 grad, was attracted by GC's peace and justice program. Jessica Schrock, a 2004 grad, chose Goshen because of its love and awareness for all creation, not just American humanity. Sophomore Helina Samuel's boyfriend attended GC, and she also was drawn to the pre-med program."

"All of the transfers interviewed live on campus, and they say that this is an ideal way to make the transition into the GC culture. While most chose another Hesston transfer as a roommate, all feel they have found their place within the larger community at Goshen."

"Most Hesston transfers remain close to the other Hesstonites at GC. While the connections remain strong, all also feel they are becoming a part of the GC community as well. Amanda Friesen, a senior, feels blessed by experiencing two different college worlds. In particular, Friesen points to SST as 'an amazing, reaffirming experience about coming to Goshen'."
