Mennonite poet Jeff Gundy to do reading at Goshen College April 30
GOSHEN, Ind. – Award-winning Mennonite poet, Jeff Gundy, will read from his new work during a poetry reading at Goshen College on April 30 at 8 p.m. in Rieth Recital Hall.
The reading, which will be followed by a reception and book signing, is free and open to the public.
A 1975 Goshen College graduate, Gundy is professor of English at Bluffton (Ohio) College and the guest teacher of the 2004 Poetry Workshop at Goshen College.
Gundy has published three collections of poetry and two collections of essays, most recently “Rhapsody with Dark Matter” (Bottom Dog Press, 2000) and “Scattering Point: The World in a Mennonite Eye” (SUNY Press, 2003). He received his master’s and doctorate from Indiana University.
