Student Wellness & Health Center

Goshen College has partnered with the local Goshen Family Physicians to serve as the primary medical service provider for students and for such program-related services as SST immunizations and athletic physicals. Counseling services continue to be offered on campus in the Wellness and Health Center space (the east end of the Rec-Fitness Center).

Goshen Family Physicians provides primary health care for all ages. This includes pediatric, adult, medical and obstetrical care. They specialize in preventative healthcare as well as management of acute and chronic illness. This includes treatment for depression, ADHD and other mental health concerns. In the office, they perform many procedures such as lesion removal, colposcopy and ultrasounds. Goshen Family Physicians consist of six Family Physicians, a Family Nurse Practitioner and a Family Physician Assistant. In addition, they have a staff of 20 nurses and receptionists.

Directions

The Goshen Family Physicians clinic is located 1 mile east of the Goshen College campus at 1811 Charlton Court in Goshen. From campus, travel east on College Avenue, turn right on Dierdorff Road; pass through a traffic circle; turn left on Charlton Court; turn left immediately into the parking lot. Goshen Family Physicians is on your left (look for the signage and the building with solar panels all over the roof).

Eligibility and payment

All students must have a Confidential Health Form on file in the Wellness & Health Center.

Students will need to use their medical insurance to cover payment of services at Goshen Family Physicians, including co-pays. Payment with cash, check, credit or debit card is expected at time of visit.
