Professor earns certificate in Family Business Advising
At its recent 2010 International Conference in Chicago, IL, the Family Firm Institute (FFI) awarded a Certificate in Family Business Advising to Jonathan L. Geiser.
This certificate designates an FFI member as having achieved significant professional knowledge through fulfillment of all the requirements for the FFI Certificate in Family Business Advising. Such distinction further ensures that family business owners, and/or the clients of family business advisors, will continue to benefit from the highest standards in professional best practices.
Jonathan Geiser is an Associate Professor of Business at Goshen College, teaching in the areas of finance, strategic management, and entrepreneurship. He is also the Director of Business Development for Goshen College’s Center for Business and Entrepreneurial Education (CBEE), developing and managing courses, workshops and seminars for the Elkhart County business community.
The Family Firm Institute, an international professional membership organization of over 1500 individuals and organizations across 50 countries, is dedicated to providing interdisciplinary education and networking opportunities for family business and family wealth advisors, consultants, educators and researchers. It works to increase public awareness and broaden the understanding of trends and developments in the family business and family wealth fields.
