Biology Alumnus Honored

The Department of Biological Sciences at Goshen College is very proud of it’s 1979 GC alumnus Philip Beachy. Dr. Beachy is receiving the Keio Medical Science Prize in recognition of his identification of Hedgehog, a key molecule in development, and its medical applications. Beachy is a Howard Hughes Medical Institute investigator, Associate at the Institute of Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine, and the Amelia Gallo Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine.  Read more.
