Goshen Students Design Cystic Fibrosis Website

Connor Histand and Kyle Laker recently designed a web site for the Cystic Fibrosis Council in  Elkhart.  The Cystic Fibrosis Council provides educational, financial, nutritional and emotional support to people with Cystic Fibrosis. They support and educate families as they integrate the care of a child diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis into their daily lives. It also provides support to allow adults living with Cystic Fibrosis to live as productively and independently as possible.

The Cystic Fibrosis Council also provides an educational outreach programs to schools and work places about the disease of Cystic Fibrosis. This program explains the medical and social needs of persons living with Cystic Fibrosis and related pulmonary diseases.

The web site supports the mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation by providing information to the public about the disease. It also lets them know about the activities of the council and how they can support its work in Northern Indiana and  Southern Michigan. The site accepts online donations through pay pal. Connor Histand and Kyle Laker used WordPress to create the site so that it would be easy for the organization to maintain the site.
