South to North: Traveling and Training

A full blog entry for the month of February will be posted soon, but I can’t resist posting a picture or two taken while being a WWOOF volunteer earlier this month in southwest Arkansas at Plum Creek Ranch. As a first time WWOOFer, my experience was rich with learning, witnessing the birth and death of farm animals, and two-way sharing of farm ideas.

At the moment, my director Luke Gascho and I are making our way to the MOSES Conference in La Crosse, Wisconsin, a weekend we look forward to at the end of each winter. More on that soon…
