Hartford Seminary’s International Peacemaking Program
Hartford Seminary accepting applications for their International Peacemaking Program. This program gives full scholarships for a year of study at Hartford Seminary to seven students from countries where there is inter or intra- religious strife. Five of the scholarships are for international students of any faith; two scholarships are specifically for Christians from the United States.
In addition to the required academic work – students complete an 18 credit graduate certificate -a new skill building component has been incorporated. Students now have opportunities to participate in workshops on topics such as mediation, public dialogue facilitation, effective use of the media, and project management throughout the academic year. The mission of this non-profit is to build respectful relationships among diverse individuals and communities and to forge common ground that promotes social justice, peace and freedom among the people.
