Students prepare tax returns

On Monday, February 14, students in Individual Tax class will begin preparing tax returns for low-income residents of Elkhart County. This service project is integrated into the tax course and gives students an opportunity to apply the tax law they are learning in class. Students get real experience interviewing clients, answering questions, explaining tax rules, and working with tax software.
