(4/14/2014) I am currently in my fifth year of graduate school at Indiana University pursuing a dual PhD. in Computer Science and Cognitive Science. Some of my research interests include artificial life, emotions, and neuromodulation. My work for my dissertation includes implementing models of neuromodulation into the artificial life simulator Polyworld. I see my work on modeling neuromodulation as a means of investigating what may be underlying mechanisms of emotion. Through understanding neuromodulation better, I hope to gain deeper insight into the roles it may play in emotion.
