Teach Elkhart County
Criteria
If you meet the following criteria, you would be an outstanding Teach EC candidate:
- Identify as a BIPOC individual (Black, Indigenous, and/or Person of Color)
- From Elkhart County
- Interested in attending Goshen College and majoring in education
- Intend to teach in Elkhart County (a minimum of three years, and ideally, for your entire career) following graduation
Scholarship
Please note that Teach Elkhart County is an extracurricular mentorship program and does not provide scholarships directly. However, Teach EC students are encouraged to apply for the following scholarship if eligible:
Anglemyer Education Scholarship
The Anglemyer Education Scholarship ($1,000-$3,000 annually) is available to students at Goshen College intending to major in teacher education, with priority selection going to students from Elkhart County. High school and transfer students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or higher and be eligible for admission to Goshen College.
