Measuring Metabolic Rates

These Biology students are using state-of-the-art physiological equipment to measure their own metabolic rates.  Utilizing measurements of oxygen consumption and carbon dioxide output, it is easy to determine how much energy these students are using during their busy school days!  This equipment will be used in research activities and in teaching Anatomy & Physiology, Vertebrate Physiology, and Biological Principles I and II.  (Featuring Biology upperclassmen Kristen Steiner and Anne Lehman)
