2013 MCM Results

Emily Fretz, Andy Clemens, and Daniel Fecher made “Brownies Beyond Compare.”  At least that was the title of their submission to the 2013 Mathematical Contest in Modeling.  Goshen College’s team was one of 5,636 teams from throughout the world who spent a long weekend in February working on an optimal design for brownie pans or finding the best way to meet the future water needs for one country.  Our team was designated a Successful Participant.  The full statements of the contest problems can be found here and full results can be found here.
