Reaffirmation of HLC Accreditation
During the 2014-15 academic year, Goshen College is concluding a three-year process leading up to a Higher Learning Commission Comprehensive Evaluation for Reaffirmation of Accreditation. The Comprehensive Evaluation process, which last occurred at GC in 2005, consists of two components: an institutional self-study and a peer review visit. The institutional self-study is the culmination of a campus-wide effort to consider the institution’s strengths and areas for growth within the context of the commission’s Criteria for Accreditation.
On March 9-11, 2015 a team of visitors from the HLC conducted an on-site visit. In the weeks leading up to the visit, the team reviewed an institutional Self-Study Report along with additional evidence gathered in a digital resource room. During the three days of the visit, the team met with on- and off-campus stakeholders to complete their review.
