Goshen College offers several payment options:
Directly to the college:
A. Through MyGC (NEW!) –
Students: log in, click on My Current Account Balances/Bill, then on Make a payment on your account to make a single payment with a card or ACH (eCheck).
Parents: log in to MyGC, select the student you wish to view, click on “Student Statement/Bill.” On the next page, you will be able to generate a current bill, view account history, and make a single payment on your account directly to GC, using a card or ACH (eCheck).
B. By phone – 574-535-7514 – a 3% convenience fee will be added; the cashier is on duty M-F, 9-12:30
C. In the office, using cash, check, or card (a 3% convenience fee will be added to card transactions)

Set up a payment plan or single online payment through Nelnet: Note: Nelnet payments take 5 business days to get processed and credited to student accounts. If paying with a card, Nelnet adds a 2.85% convenience fee. Nelnet plans are not renewed or adjusted automatically. You must set up a new plan each semester. Please contact the Student Accounts Manager for assistance.
International payments through Flywire or Nelnet
Wire transfer – contact the office for information. A $15 fee will be added, so please add that to the amount of your payment.

- Go to the Nelnet login page to create a new account or sign in to your account
- Choose “Set up a Payment Plan” to pay in full or set up monthly payments
- Always choose the plan that matches the semester it covers
- Enter the amount due (available online from MyGC)

To enroll in a monthly payment plan or make payment in full, visit our Nelnet online payment portal and use your student ID number when you sign in. Note: Nelnet payments take 5 business days to get processed and credited to student accounts.
Note: Nelnet does not accept direct payments from financial institutions outside the U.S, unless you use an international payment plan. International Students also have the option to use Flywire for single payments.

Determining your balance: Retrieve your preliminary fall bill through MyGC. Log in to MyGC, click on the resources tab, and click on “My Bill for Next Semester.” That will generate a live bill. Use the balance due shown on the bill to set up a payment plan. Once set up, you can contact accounting@goshen.edu to adjust the payment plan amount or payment dates if needed.
Payment processing: All down payments and single payments are processed immediately. Plan payments process on the 1st of each month, unless Accounting has rescheduled that for you, and will continue until the balance is paid in full. If you choose to pay with a credit or debit card, a convenience fee in addition to the enrollment fee will be assessed. Avoid the convenience fee by paying via ACH (enter your routing and account number). A returned payment fee will automatically be assessed for any payments missed. Nelnet payments take 5 business days to process, transfer to the college, and get credited to student accounts. Please plan ahead!
Adjustments are manual: Please do not assume your balance will be adjusted automatically if financial aid is received or a class is dropped or added! You should review your agreement balance online through Nelnet and call the Goshen College Accounting Office at (574) 535-7513 to request needed changes.
