Welcome to Goshen College!
We are excited to help you successfully begin your GC career and get you more connected with your future campus through your first day of class. Spring New Student Orientation (NSO) is designed for all new Goshen College students starting courses in January. There are two required parts: the pre-orientation modules and New Student Orientation (NSO).
1. Pre-Orientation Modules
- All new students must complete the pre-orientation modules in the Online Orientation course by December 13.
- Pre-Orientation Module 1: Where Everything Connects – Quick Facts, Mission, Vision, Core Values, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), and Roll Call
- Pre-Orientation Module 2: Forms to Complete – How to complete the forms, Accept Your Financial Aid, Student Life Residence Form, Submit Final Transcripts, Financial Responsibility Agreement, Confidential Health Form, iPad Agreement Form, Emergency Contact Form
- Pre-Orientation Module 3: Before you arrive on campus – Advising & Registration, Set up Parent Access, Language placement test (optional), Find your class schedule, Buy your books
- Pre-Orientation Module 4: Paying for College – Paying for College, Payment Plans, and Final Check of Estimated Bill
- All new students must complete the NSO module by January 6.
- New Student Orientation (NSO) – Schedule, Register your vehicle, ALEKS Math Placement, Online Safety Courses
- Campus Resources (Goshen College) – Campus Media, Social Media, Academic Success Center, Disability Accommodations, Review Academic Policies, and Review Student Conduct Policies
- Community Resources (Goshen, IN) – Goshen (the city), City resources
2. New Student Orientation
- All new first-year and transfer students must participate in New Student Orientation January 6-7, 2025.
