Fall athletic teams return to campus early for pre-season. See below for specific team information.
Thursday, August 1 | Men’s & Women’s Soccer, Women’s Volleyball
11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. — Early Arrival Check-In | Church-Chapel, Fellowship Hall
Each team will meet at the Fellowship Hall at their designated time (see below) to begin their Official Fall Check-In. This includes completing any missing financial aid forms, submitting the Financial Responsibility Agreement with the Accounting Office that confirms how you will pay for college (a cashier will be available for payments), and submitting your emergency contact information.
New student-athletes will also turn in their Confidential Health Forms to Health Services, receive their iPad (unless they’ve opted out), and pick up their ID cards (if they didn’t already during the summer).
11 a.m. – Women’s Soccer
11:30 a.m. – Women’s Volleyball
12 p.m. – Men’s Soccer
11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. — Move-In to temporary housing | Miller Hall
After you’ve checked in and received your key, head over to Miller Hall to move into your temporary housing.
11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. — Lunch | Union Dining
Parents and family members are invited to have lunch in the dining hall.
2 – 3 p.m. — Athletics Meeting | Ruth Gunden Gymnasium
A meeting is required for all members of the teams (coaches, students, managers, etc.) arriving on this day.
Friday, August 9 | Men’s & Women’s Cross Country
11 a.m. – 12 p.m. — Early Arrival Check-In | Church-Chapel, Fellowship Hall

After you’ve checked in, head over to the 1st-floor Connector to pick up your room key for your fall housing assignment.

A meeting is required for all members of the teams (coaches, students, managers, etc.) arriving on this day.
Meals: All fall student-athletes have breakfast at the RFC from August 2 to 16. Lunch and dinner will be held in Union Dining or as the coach directs. All meals are provided until meal plans start on August 17. Students will sign in at the cashier’s station in the dining hall.
Beginning August 17, students with unlimited meal plans (carte blanche) will swipe their cards. From August 17 to 23, the Athletic Department and the Office of Orientation will cover the meal costs for fall student-athletes who do not have a meal plan or have a limited meal plan (30-, 65-, or 90-block plans). Students will sign in at the cashier’s station before each meal.
