Globalization and its Implications for You

The world is changing, and it’s changing very rapidly. National economic and financial systems have become deeply interconnected and interdependent. This rapid integration and evolution of the world’s economy has presented governments, companies and individuals with enormous opportunities . . . and enormous challenges. This presentation will give an overview of how globalization is transforming our world (economically, politically and culturally) and how institutions, companies, communities and individuals are preparing (or not preparing) to meet the challenges and opportunities that this transformation creates.

Presenter: Jonathan Geiser, M.S., is an associate professor of business at Goshen College, teaching in the areas of finance, strategic management and entrepreneurship. He is also the director of business development for Goshen College’s Center for Business and Entrepreneurial Education (CBEE).
