Throughout my life I have increasingly become more conscious of time. I believe that the final assessment of our existence will basically be how we spent the hours that make up our lives; how much time spent helping, loving, and caring for others in our world.
I started making clocks because I liked the kinetic aspect that it added
to my sculpture. The addition of the moving second hand, and in some
cases the pendulum, makes them functional art and also gives them personality.
To me they are a reminder of the great value, also the brevity, of life.
We must cherish each moment that God has given us and celebrate each heartbeat!
