Hello from across the pond! Today marks the 6th day we’ve been away from the US and our 5th day in London. Once we arrived in the city we launched onto a tour of our immediate surroundings around the hotel, following that up the next day with a more full tour of London’s performing arts venues and museums. The photos attached to this blog post are some of those I took while on the Friday city tour with Deb Brubaker and the “music” group– 15 students of the total 44. Since then we’ve enjoyed full English breakfasts every morning, attended Sunday morning worship at the Westminster Abbey, viewed exhibits at the British Museum, and explored on our own. Overall, these last few days have been filled to the brim with absorbing and understanding the arts’ role in London and through that beginning to grasp the gargantuan greatness of being that is understood during world travel.
