The past few days all of us students have been occupied and busy with taking in the city. Everyone has been trying to coordinate times and planning out days to go see different theater productions such as “Wicked,” “The Lion King,” or even some Shakespeare inspired plays such as “Rothenshake and Guidenshier are Dead.” Many of us also have discovered some good and inexpensive eating places to eat lunch and dinner. The overall culture of the city makes it so surreal to experience, the melting pot of different languages being spoken, fashion being worn, accents and food and music etc, it has been a whirlwind but so exciting to be apart of.
Sightseeing: Buckingham Palace.
Many students walked to see the country’s home of its Queen: Elizabeth ll.
Pictured is Sydney Cruz, Brodie Nofziger, Caitlyn O’Neal, Jesse Lowen, Johanna Roth, Carley O’Neal, and Mackinnon Tracy in front of the Buckingham Palace in London. The weather was absolutely beautiful that day!!

Short walking tour around the city:
Each group of students assigned with the Visual Arts, Music, and Theater professors, made their way around the city to catch a glimpse of what architecture, art, and culture was apparent nearby the St. Athans Hotel.
Touring the city and admired some gothic architecture throughout the city.
Walking around the town with the Visual Art group! St. Paul Cathedral is pictured in the background.
Learning how to navigate around the big city! The subway underneath the streets is called “The Tube,” students and professors use a prepaid card to access the mode of transportation. It makes it easier to get to different areas around the city in little time.
Lunch at Nando’s:
There is a lot of great restaurants around the Bloomsbury area where our hotel is at. This Portuguese chicken place had great options and nice people to sit and have dinner!
All of us are excited to continue our journey with Winning London!
