2019 Goshen College Chamber Choir and Orchestra.
The 2019 Goshen College tour features the Chamber Choir and Chamber Orchestra, traveling to Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona, February 23 – March 1. This year’s program is entitled “All of Us: A Song of Gratitude.”
This year’s theme brings together two ideas. First, being grateful is a basic key to love of self and others. As we stop our busy lives to consider our surroundings, we can notice how much is made available and given to us by an abundant Divine Love. Secondly, taking this sense of abundance, we can then turn to others and offer them the gifts of recognition and invitation to a shared community.
The choir is directed by Dr. Debra Dewiler, professor of music, and the orchestra is directed by Dr. Jose Rocha, associate professor of music. The tour is managed by Marcia Yost, director of the arts: engagement & outreach and Dan Koop Liechty, Ph.D., director of alumni relations.
