On Wednesday both teams played against the the branch campus of UAPA (Universidad Abierta Para Adultos) here in the capital, Santo Domingo. While the basketball team came out ahead, making their record 3-1 for the trip, the softball team suffered their first loss, an narrow loss, against the best team they’ve played so far. Their record now is also 3-1.
