Tutoring and Writing/Research Support
To support academic success, Goshen College offers free tutoring and writing assistance services.
Tutoring Services
Tutors provide assistance with understanding course material, developing study strategies, and improving academic performance. Individual and group tutoring sessions are available in-person with GC peer tutors or online with Upswing tutors. Just schedule an appointment to get started. Please make appointments at least one hour in advance. When you make an appointment, you will see the location to meet your tutor.
Writing and Research Assistance (ASK! Desk)
The Goshen College ASK! Desk provides writing and research assistance that includes help with brainstorming, drafting, revising, and finalizing written assignments, as well as finding and evaluating appropriate resources. This service is available for any stage of your writing process. Writing and research consultations with a GC librarian or a peer writing mentor can be scheduled here or by visiting the ASK! Desk in the Good Library.

Hispanic and Inclusive Student Programming
As part of the Developing HSI Title V grant, more targeted initiatives are available to support the well-being, engagement, and financial wellness of Hispanic and underserved students through programs that enhance the college experience, address specific challenges, and assist in belonging. We collaborate across campus to offer workshops, events, and resources for students and families to build trust and engagement opportunities. Parents can visit this webpage for more information about the college experience through the Conexiones newsletter and additional resources.
