We appreciate your interest in hiring Goshen College students and alumni! We welcome the opportunity to partner with you as you seek excellent candidates to fill your organization’s needs.
The information below can provide you with ideas to directly recruit students and to increase your organization’s visibility on campus. Feel free to contact Career Services to discuss what options might work best for your organization.
Goshen College Job & Internship Bank
The online job & internship bank assists our students and alumni in connecting with employment and service opportunities. It is the most effective way to recruit GC students, and there is no charge to employers or job seekers.
If you have a position you would like to have posted, email the job description to careers@goshen.edu. A template for a job description may be found by clicking here.
Note to Employers: summer hours
Thank you for posting your job openings to the Goshen College job & internship bank.
During the summer months, we will have limited staff hours in the Career Networks office. As a result, jobs will not be posted to the job bank with the same frequency as during the school year. We will do our best to update the job bank in a timely manner. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. Thank you!
Hire an intern
Many employers consider internships excellent opportunities to preview the performance of potential employees. Learn more about hiring an intern.
Part-Time Job and Service Fair
At the beginning of each school year, the Career Networks office hosts a part-time job and service fair to connect our students with local on- and off-campus job opportunities. Interested employers may register for the fair by completing the registration form here.
Volunteer for Career Services’ events
If your organization is in the local area, a great way to increase your visibility on campus is to volunteer for events sponsored by Career Networks. This allows you face-to-face time with students in a non-invasive setting. In the past employers have led workshops on numerous topics from interviewing to money management.
In addition, each semester Career Networks hosts an event called Super Tuesday. Students register in advance to have their résumé reviewed and engage in a practice interview with local professionals. If you feel skilled or well-trained in résumé reviewing and interviewing, we would love for you to help us out! For more information please email David Kendall, Career Networks Director, or call (574) 535-7789.
