Preparing for SST

Welcome to the first blog post for the Fall 2017 China Study Service Term!

My name is Beverly Lapp. I’m a music prof at GC and just completed a four-year term as Core Curriculum director. My spouse Dale Klassen led SST with me previously in Dominican Republic and Peru and will be along for the adventure in China. We’re happy our daughters Greta (17) and Naomi (14) will also be joining us.

Dale and I leave for China in a couple weeks to prepare for the SSTers (and daughters) who will travel to China August 30.

My next post will share some of the groups’ activities in May term to prepare for the fall. For now, here is a photo of the SST group from one of our gatherings that month. We are really grateful for the opportunity to experience and learn in China with these excellent people.
