Most Egyptians begin their day by eating Fuul, a dish made with beans, garlic, cumin and other spices. It is eaten with bread, which is another staple of the Egyptian diet. Another common dish that is sold everywhere in small shops is Kushari, a mixture of noodles, rice, lentils and onion. A meal is often accompanied by wonderful sauces, such as hummus, babaghanoug and tahina. There are many other wonderful dishes such as molukhiyya, which is made with a particular leaf and slowly cooked into a sauce.
