Although I love educating students, I believe the first step to being a great educator is personally engaging in ongoing learning and education. I am currently working on my doctoral project, entitled Using an Academic Practice Partnership To Meet College and Community Health Needs. The focus is to improve a college’s and its community’s health through improved access to holistic healthcare services.

1998-2014:

Worked as bedside nurse, patient and community educator, nurse manager, nurse educator

2014-present:

Family Nurse Practitioner in Pennsylvania and Indiana, presently at Maple City Health Care Center

2019- present:

MSN Program Director (2023) and Associate Professor of Nursing at Goshen College
