The Edith Stoltzfus Nursing Scholarship Fund

This scholarship is a tribute to Edith Stoltzfus, who after raising her five children and the youngest had started school, chose to pursue her lifelong desire to become a nurse. After completing her training in her early 50s, Edith worked at the local hospital for 15 years. She enjoyed her work in the newborn nursery very much, and gave many babies their first bath. Her husband, Robert, wishes to honor her memory with this scholarship and benefit nursing students, especially non-traditional students who are starting their education later in life, as Edith did.
