Norman S. Gingerich Scholarship
Norman S. Gingrich was a native of Ontario, Canada, but lived his later years in Northern Indiana. He had an early interest in Mennonite education and was a part-time teacher of business at Elkhart Institute.
In his will, Mr. Gingrich set up a trust fund in behalf of Goshen College with the income from the trust to be used for student scholarships. For the first thirty years the scholarships were available only to family descendants, but now they are available to any student who demonstrates financial need.
Recipients of the Norman S. Gingrich Scholarship are encouraged to express their appreciation to his nephew, John E. Gingrich, 3500 South King Street, SP 93, Denver, Colorado 80236.
