MLAC Golf Outing: COVID safety protocols

Maple Leaf Athletic Club 2020 Golf Outing Safety Protocols

We are working hard on creating a safe environment for our golf outing this year. During this time, Goshen College seeks to foster a culture of kindness, commitment to the common good, trust and learning and we invite you into this way of being. Please observe the following safety protocols for the day of the event.

Goshen College’s strategies for safety include:

  1. Daily Self-Screening Checklist
  2. Hand Hygiene
  3. Physical Distancing
  4. Wear a Face Covering

Maplecrest: There are plexiglass dividers for golf carts available by reservation (first come, first served basis). Please email ealbertin@goshen.edu if you would like a cart with a divider. Maplecrest is pressure washing all golf carts with antibacterial soap between uses. The carts are sprayed down every night with a neutral disinfectant. Maplecrest also has ball retrievers which eliminate a touchpoint at the pin.

On the day of the event, please self-screen before you arrive. If you have any of the following symptoms, please take a raincheck for the golf outing.

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea
