Marvin and Delores Nolt Scholarship

Delores (Neff) Nolt grew up in Gulliver, Michigan in the Upper Peninsula. Following graduation from high school she was employed in the Washington, D.C., area where she met Marvin Nolt who was in I-W. Marvin had grown up in Denver, Pennsylvania. Delores and Marvin were married in 1969. Marvin attended Prince George’s Community College and the University of Maryland where he received his B.S. He then continued at the University of Maryland’s Dental School.

Delores and Marvin have two children. Geoffrey was born in 1979 and Theresa was born in 1981.

Marvin has had a dental practice in Ephrata, Pennsylvania, since 1978. Delores has been involved with child raising, congregational music and horticulture. They are members of the Forest Hills Mennonite Church in Leola, Pennsylvania.

Delores and Marvin are interested in making it possible for students to attend church schools and particularly wish to help students who choose to attend Goshen College to study the natural sciences or prepare for church ministry.
