Learn Spanish Locally and Abroad
As a Spanish major, you will spend two semesters studying abroad in Spanish-speaking countries like Peru, Mexico, Ecuador, Cuba, and Spain. GC’s unique one-year residency requirement will have you speaking fluently, understanding a variety of Hispanic cultures and Latin American literatures, and feeling prepared for an increasingly Spanish-speaking world.

Hillary Harder, a music and Spanish double major from Wichita, Kansas, is a musician, peacemaker, ministry leader and lover of teatime and one-on-one talks. She graduated in 2015.
Yejin is a music major from Seoul, South Korea. She participated is the Women's World Music Choir, Parables Worship Team and International Student Club.
Joanna Epp, who graduated in 2016 with an environmental science major and a Spanish minor, is truly an interdisciplinary student. She is a viola player, a co-leader of EcoPAX and a member of the women’s tennis team.
