About this event
Wriggly, squiggly, wrinkly worms! Have you ever wondered what a worm’s life is like? What are they doing when you see them on the sidewalk or driveway? We will read An Earthworm’s Life by John Himmelman and then we will dig in the compost pile to see what we can find. After that, we will go for a short walk to see if we can find any worm dens or castings.
What is Tales & Trails?
Children and their caregiver(s) gather for a short story that incites curiosity before exploring different locations around Merry Lea’s property. Expect to hear a tale & hike a trail while discovering the natural wonders around you together. This is a 1.5 hour monthly program designed for children ages 3-5, with younger siblings welcome to join, led by a Merry Lea educator.
Registration is not required for this event series: you’re welcome to drop in without registering. By registering for this program you are signing up for the Tales and Trails monthly email list, which shares details like upcoming program location and more!
*Please note that you do not need to sign up for every Tales & Trails program in the series.
