At Your School Program Options
OBSERVING LIVING THINGS
This program will focus on learning about the characteristics of living and nonliving things. Students will spend time observing what makes the schoolyard or a nearby natural area special.
Grades: K – 2nd
Program length: 2 hours
Maximum number of students: 25 students (or 1 classroom)
This program will focus on discovering how living things adapt and interact with the world around them. Students will explore how animals and plants adapt to survive and how humans interact with nature.
Grades: 3rd – 5th
Program length: 2 hours
Maximum number of students: 25 students (or 1 classroom)
NATURAL SELECTION AND NICHES
This program will focus on exploring the traits of plant and animal species which enable them to adapt to an environment, survive and reproduce, and pass on their genes to the next generation. Students will learn that some species form symbiotic relationships with other species to survive and discover how climate change impacts natural selection.
Grades: 6th – 12th
Program length: 2 hours
Maximum number of students: 25 students (or 1 classroom)

Cost for additional programs (that are the same day/location/program): +$110
Travel fee:
0 – 15 miles: no charge
16 – 45: $20
46 – 75: $40
