GO Dancing! Feb. 1
GOSHEN, Ind. — GO Dancing! and Goshen College present the sixth event of their second season of Old-Time community dances from 8 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, in the Goshen College Union Auditorium. An optional beginner’s workshop begins at 7:30 p.m.
Danika Murray from Kalamazoo, Mich., and Alan Vlach from South Bend, Ind., will present a program of dances including circle, contra and square dances. The old-time band Root Cellar from Bowling Green, Ohio, will provide live music for the event.
Singles, couples and families are welcome. Comfortable clothing and shoes for active movement are recommended. Children are welcome but childcare is not provided. The auditorium is located in the east end of the Goshen College Union.
Admission for the dance is $6 for the general public and $1 for students. Children under age 12 are free. The maximum charge for each family is $15.
