Musical group will bring 16th century music to modern-day Goshen College on Feb. 12
Baltimore Consort, the sextet that will take the Sauder Concert Hall stage at Goshen College on Feb. 12 at 7:30 p.m. as part of the 2004-05 Performing Arts Series, will look and sound different than most modern musical groups. Interim President Yordy encourages campus to expand
In his first beginning-of-the-semester message as interim president, John Yordy called the Goshen College campus to acknowledge what it does well and what can be done more intentionally in recommitting to a culture of hospitality when he spoke on Jan. 21 during convocation.

David Wright, a professor at Wheaton College and the author of two poetry collections:
Chamber Music Series features Hodel and McWilliams Jan. 29
Trumpet performer Martin Hodel with Kent McWilliams at the piano will inaugurate the Goshen College Chamber Music Series in Rieth Recital Hall on Jan. 29 at 7:30 p.m. A reception in the Music Center lobby will follow the concert.
Black and white descendants of Thomas Jefferson to speak at Goshen College Feb. 2
When genetic testing completed in 1998 suggested that Thomas Jefferson, third president of the United States, bore children with Sally Hemings, one of his slaves, it did not shock Julia Jefferson and Shay Banks- Young who have always believed their great-great-grandfathers were sons of Jefferson and Hemings.

In winning the 2005 C. Henry Smith Peace Oratorical Contest with her speech about community nutrition, Elizabeth Miller honored the request of friends she made in Kenya last summer.
