Goshen College Music Department Chair and Associate Professor of Music John Graulty will present the first Faculty Showcase Recital of 2007 on Saturday, Jan. 13 at 7:30 p.m. in the Goshen College Music Center's Rieth Recital Hall. Graulty, a clarinetist, will perform chamber music with fellow music department faculty and students.
With an impressive repertoire of both classical and contemporary music, The Emerson String Quartet will play at Goshen College Music Center's Sauder Concert Hall on Jan.19 at 7:30 p.m., as part of the Performing Arts Series.

Goshen College will honor the life and work of Martin Luther King Jr. by holding its 14th annual all-school Martin Luther King Jr. Study Day, emphasizing the values and ideals that characterized King's work, on Monday, Jan. 15. The theme for the day's activities will be "MLK and the Hip-Hop Generation: Bridging the Past and the Future." The college has again canceled all classes during the day, and all these events are open to the public.
