

The English Concert, a baroque orchestra from London, will perform at Goshen College in a Performing Arts Series concert on Saturday, Feb. 16 at 7:30 p.m. in the Music Center’s Sauder Concert Hall.
Goshen College Professor Emeritus of Art Abner Hershberger will showcase his art exhibit titled “Heritage Works” in the college’s Good Library Gallery from Feb. 10 to March 28. An opening reception will be held there on Feb. 10 from 2-4 p.m.
At the age of 95, Goshen College Professor Emeritus of Music Dwight E. Weldy died on Jan. 12, 2013, at Greencroft Healthcare Center in Goshen.
Daniel Philpott, associate professor of political science and peace studies at the University of Notre Dame’s Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies, will present Goshen College’s Yoder Public Affairs Lecture on Tuesday, Feb. 5 at 7:30 p.m.

Dr. Lee Miller, a 1980 Goshen College graduate, and 2006 GC graduate Matt Bauman are working, along with other researchers, towards major advancements in long term paralysis treatment. Their team’s research with brain-controlled muscle simulation in monkeys was recently mentioned as one of the top 10 break-throughs of 2012 by Science Magazine.
Goshen College Professor Emeritus of Education Samuel L. Yoder died on Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, at the age of 92.
