There’s an app for that, too, and you have tech hobbyist James Stuckey Weber of Goshen to thank. Stuckey’s day job has him handling social media duties for a non-profit agency. But the Goshen College graduate tinkers with apps in his off hours and has engineered six of them in all, available for use on iPhones.
April 2013 events at Goshen College
Goshen College’s 13th annual Conference on Science and Religion will be held April 5-7 and will feature speaker Gayle E. Woloschak, a professor of radiation oncology, radiology and cell and molecular biology at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. The conference’s theme is “Becoming Human: Weaving Together Genetics and Personhood.”
The Goshen College Theater Department will present Jim Leonard, Jr.’s award-winning play “The Diviners” for the spring mainstage production.
Goshen College Associate Professor of Music Christopher Fashun will present a Faculty Recital Series percussion recital in the Music Center’s Rieth Recital Hall on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 4 p.m.
Nature lovers of all ages are invited to Merry Lea’s Rieth Village site Thursday, April 4 and Friday, April 5 from 1-3 p.m. for early spring excursions focused on frogs.
Goshen College opened its doors to the community Sunday afternoon for a special community fair and open house to showcase its newly renovated Union Building.
Guests will get a portrait of Turkey’s culture and food during Goshen College’s Afternoon Sabbatical on Tuesday, April 9 at noon in the College Mennonite Church Fellowship Hall. March 30 is the registration deadline.
