Heavenly Voices, a play featuring stories of Mennonite women of color, will be coming to Goshen College on Sunday, Sept. 29 at 3 p.m.

Goshen College Homecoming Weekend, Oct. 4-6, has something for everyone
Goshen College alumni and friends are warmly invited back to campus for Homecoming Weekend, Oct. 4-6. In addition to reuniting with classmates, highlights of the weekend include the 60th anniversary celebration for the nursing department, a music gala, a hymn sing, an art exhibit, kids' activities, alumni bike ride, alumni author book signings, campus tours, a Frisbee tournament, soccer game and the play “Gadfly: Sam Steiner Dodges the Draft,” a true story about a Goshen alum set primarily at the college.
Pottery exhibit to be part of Michiana Pottery Tour this fall
Beginning on Sept. 27, Goshen College’s Hershberger Art Gallery will host an exhibit of ceramic works by Michiana area potters. The exhibit will also be included in the second annual Michiana Pottery Tour.

President Brenneman welcomes students with call to be compassionate peacemakers
Goshen College President James E. Brenneman opened the 2013-14 school year with an invitation to the campus to recommit themselves to being compassionate peacemakers.

Each year Goshen College spends an entire year focused on one of the five core values that lie at the heart and soul of our community life. . . becoming Christ-centered, passionate learners, compassionate peacemakers, servant leaders, and global citizens. Today, we begin a year-long workout about the meaning, the significance, and the consequences of living out the core value of “compassionate peacemaking.”
