Anne Glick ’98: From fearful to Globe Smart – TEDxEde

Over millions of years humans have learned to be wary of things that feel foreign, to back away rather than approach. In Anne’s view, in our globalized world, this is no longer a smart instinct. World citizens of the future will be happier and more successful when they are Globe Smart.

Anne Glick left the field of international development after years of working in the Middle East and Africa, to create an educational iOS app series that encourages cross-group friendship. She’s a writer and photographer who believes that technology can help save the world, just not in the way we expect it to.
