Goshen College to host spring open houses
Goshen College will host open houses on Monday, Feb. 15 (President’s Day) and Friday, April 1, for prospective students and their families.
Visiting campus is one of the best ways to get a feel for a college and decide if it’s a good fit. On President’s Day, anyone interested in attending Goshen College is welcome to campus for an open house. Start times are 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and will include an introduction to Goshen College, a campus tour and financial aid session. Visitors can also attend a class and meet with professors.
On April 1, Goshen College will host an Explore Goshen Day. The day will involve an academic fair, class visits and panel sessions about financial aid, student life and studying abroad. Visitors can enjoy lunch in the dining hall, tour campus and stay overnight in residence halls with host students. (See a sample schedule)
The April 1 Explore Goshen Day will also include a Discover Nursing track for those interested in a career in nursing.
Individual visit days are also options for visiting campus. Admissions counselors are available Monday-Friday and Saturday by appointment for campus tours, classroom visits and to arrange meetings with faculty members.
This year, Goshen College was named a “Best National Liberal Arts College” by U.S. News & World Report, a Top 100 “Best Value College” by Kiplinger’s Personal Finance, and a “Best Bang for the Buck” by Washington Monthly. Goshen College also received recognition as a best Christian college, a top study abroad college, and for its green initiatives and overall value.
