GC music faculty to open concert season with recital in Rieth Recital Hall

Members of the Goshen College music department faculty will open the 2016-17 concert season with a varied recital of classical music in Rieth Recital Hall on Friday, Sept. 16, 2016. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m.

The concert, featuring both full time and adjunct music instructors at Goshen College, will include performances of works by J.S. Bach, Amy Beach, Fryderyk Chopin, W.A. Mozart, Samuel Barber, Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, and selections from the musical “Fiddler on the Roof.”

Performers will include José Rocha, cello; Solomia Soroka, violin; Beverly Lapp, piano; Christine Larson Seitz, piano; Matthew Hill, piano; Scott Hochstetler, baritone; Debra Detwiler Brubaker, mezzo-soprano; and Sandra Hill, soprano.
