WGCS nominated for Best College Radio Station in the Nation for eighth straight year
For the eighth consecutive year, Goshen College’s radio station, 91.1 FM The Globe, has been nominated as a finalist for “Best College Radio Station in the Nation” by the Intercollegiate Broadcasting Systems (IBS). Having won twice (2011 and 2013), WGCS was the first station in the country to claim the title more than once.
Mark Eash Hershberger ’10, Goshen artist, finds a winning hand with Mennonite card game
Mark Eash Hershberger wanted a project that would result in something he could touch and hold. As a graphic designer and artist, he liked the idea of paper that would show his cartoons and drawing. What he didn’t expect when he started on The Mennonite Game Card Game was that it would land on the market, much less have a successful Kickstarter.
A parent’s impact in molding an entrepreneur
We all have role models growing up, people who we look up to and admire for different things. Many times, when you ask a child, "What do you want to be when you grow up" they will respond, "I want to be like my mom" or "I want to be like my dad". David Reimer is a senior member of the U.S. Foreign Service, and was sworn in as Ambassador to the Republic of Mauritius and the Republic of Seychelles on Dec. 13, 2017. He is a 2018 Goshen College Culture For Service Alumni Award-winner.
