While many news reports following Hurricane Matthew showed crowds of desperate people waiting for help to arrive, this is only one small piece of the story. The flavors of spring met environmental awareness at Goshen College Tuesday afternoon as students took part in Pollination Day, a time to reflect on and celebrate the importance of bees and other pollinators in the world’s food systems.
Goshen College was crowned Indiana Television School of the Year in the 2017 Indiana Association of School Broadcasters’ (IASB) college competition. This is the fifth time in the last eight years the college has earned that title.
The day celebrates the important role bees and pollinators play in our agricultural system.
