More and more local high schoolers are beginning to catch on to the fact they don’t have to travel across the country to get world-shifting experiences that prepare them for the workforce. In fact, they only have to travel down Main Street.

Netflix has purchased the worldwide rights for "The Incredible Jessica James," the closing night film of this year's Sundance Film Festival. The deal reportedly went for over $3 million. The comedy, written and directed by Jim Strouse (People Places Things), and stars Jessica Williams (The Daily Show) as Jessica James, an aspiring playwright in New York City.
Jessica Baldanzi, associate professor of English at Goshen College, will share her expertise on comics and graphic narratives on Feb. 14 at 1 p.m. in Sauder Concert Hall.
Building on its academic distinctives, Goshen College faculty and administration recently approved 12 new undergraduate academic programs of study, including six majors, three minors, two concentrations and an education licensure add-on program, across five areas of study. The new opportunities will be offered beginning in the fall of 2017.
