John Enz '72, artistic director of the Youth Orchestra of Central Jersey (YOCJ), came to the organization in 1985 and has devoted himself to answering to the needs of the music community.

Lisa Guedea Carreño was working as a corporate librarian in Madison, Wisconsin. She’d been on the cover of “Inc.” magazine. She and her husband Sonny were happy. But her phone kept ringing. In 1999 and 2000, Goshen College kept asking her to apply to be library director.
Goshen College has partnered with LaGrange County and DeKalb County in northeast Indiana to judge and offer scholarships for their young entrepreneur competitions, both of which took place this spring.

Dr. Jim Yoder’s legacy at Hesston College could easily be described as a rare and striking occurrence to which 50 years of students, faculty and colleagues were connected. Always hungry for increased knowledge and understanding, Yoder is a lifelong learner, transferring his passion wherever he is. But soon, at the close of the 2017-18 year, Yoder will close out his Hesston College chapter as he retires from teaching and leaving behind the longest teaching legacy to date.
