GC’s Josh Gleason named Crossroads League Athletic Director of the Year
Goshen’s Josh Gleason has been named the 2017-2018 Crossroads League Athletic Director of the Year, marking the first-such honor for the third-year AD.
“I am humbled and honored to be recognized by my colleagues and friends who serve as Athletic Directors in one of the best leagues in the country, the Crossroads League,” stated Gleason. “This award is indicative of the hard work that many coaches, administrators and student-athletes have put in to making character-driven college athletics meaningful.”
Gleason served as Goshen’s SID for seven years prior to accepting the Athletic Director position in February of 2015 and boasts nearly 15 years of administrative experience.
During the 2017-2018 year, Gleason served as the chair of the Crossroads League Athletic Director’s Executive Committee, while sitting on the NAIA Athletic Director’s Association Board of Directors.
“For the past decade, Josh has been an integral part of the successes of our student-athletes and our coaching staff,” said Goshen President Dr. Rebecca Stoltzfus. “Under his leadership as Athletic Director since 2015, Goshen has expanded opportunities for student-athletes to compete within the Crossroads League and has led critical facilities improvements. Josh works on behalf of every member of the athletics department, exemplifying a quiet character of supportive leadership and team spirit.”
The Crossroads League Athletic Director-of-the-Year honor is voted on by the 10 Athletic Directors from the Crossroads League and announced each summer.
